Call me a homemaker. Call me a domestic engineer. In the heart of everything, I am housewife. Some say that mothers who stay home have the toughest job in the world. This may or may not be true, but one thing is: the work is not worthwhile (at least financially). So I decided that if all my children were old enough to go to school, going from one house to a home worker.

Once I have the determination to become a home based workers, it is time to was finding the right opportunity, home based business. It was not as if someone standing on a corner with a sign reading “Money for Moms.” And I wanted to walk around not need a sign saying “Mom money.” Instead, I booted up my computer and placed online to find the right home business from home.

I was surprised at what I found in the kind of business opportunities for home workers. It seemed something for everyone to be there, but I had a difficult time determining what was legitimate and fraudulent. Fortunately I found a site that had much to me and presented a set of options selected for the home worker. By these means I could start.

At first I started small. I wanted to make my own hours and be there for my children when they came home from school. So I decided to start taking online surveys from home. I signed with a company and began to make between five and seventy-five dollars per survey. Each survey took place last between five minutes and half an hour, and money appears in my PayPal account between two and six weeks after completion of an investigation.

As soon as I dangled my toes in the water, I wanted to add to my income, so I decided to learn to write Google AdWords ads. Google AdWords are the small text ads that you see on the right side of search results pages and on some websites. I discovered that I had a gift for her, and began to earn decent money.

It was not long before it occurred to me that in order to ensure that I was a regular source of income, I had to diversify my sources of income. So while I participate in surveys and continued writing AdWords ads, I also launched my own website, so I do affiliate marketing and sale of products. I know it sounds difficult – especially for the home worker who does not know the first thing to build a web site – but it was pretty easy. I found that if you connect with companies, they point to actually build and host your site for you. They will even train you and advise you on marketing to generate traffic to your website.

Today I feel the best of both worlds have. As an employee at home, I can choose my own hours and be there for my children, but I can also earn a good income to support my family.
